TMNEt Streamyx

I had applied to Telekom for their new broadband service called Streamyx on 26 Dec 2001 but their support staff told me that: -
There was no more ADSL ports available at the PJ exchange
My application had disappeared from their list in the House of Internet, Kelana Jaya
So, I tried another approach - I applied through TNB and went together with our application for our Board of Directors, hence a "priority" request.
Guess what? I applied on 4 Mar 2002 and got it installed and operational by their technicians two days later on 6 Mar. It was up and running in thirty minutes! Talk about VIP treatment.
Anyway, I'm happy with Streamyx. It's really fast, and I average about 30 KB/s transfer speed (instead of 3 KB/s for dial-up modem.)
Below is a picture of the ADSL modem that was provided by Telekom, which was hooked up to my computer's built-in LAN port, and the existing telephone line.
