Since I upgraded my Streamyx
broadband connection from 384Kbps to 512Kbps on 3 Dec 2003, it was a
good idea to extend my Internet access to others in my home, namely my
nephew Haniff, and my brother Hussien.
So, I decided to purchase and install a wireless LAN system at
home!
It so happens that between 19-21 Dec 2003, a local PC
Fair took place. This was the best time to buy the system since
vendors normally give special discounts.
I took Vick and Fariz to PWTC
where the fair was held, and managed to buy the following at a total of
RM450 from the list price of RM797!
